New Delhi, March 4: Israeli intelligence reports indicate that since the launch of Operation ‘Roaring Lion,’ Iranian leadership has intensified efforts to alter regional dynamics. Allegations suggest that Hezbollah is under significant pressure from Iran to take action against Israel.
According to Lieutenant Colonel Nadav Shoshani, spokesperson for the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), senior Iranian officials have exerted considerable pressure on Hezbollah’s leadership to engage in attacks against Israel. The aim is to apply pressure on the IDF and inflict harm on Israeli citizens.
There is no doubt that Hezbollah has decided to attack Israel to assist the Iranian regime. Their decisions clearly show that their interests lie with the Iranian government, not with the Lebanese people. Once again, Hezbollah has prioritized the Iranian government over the safety of the Lebanese citizens, engaging in a conflict they cannot win.
Previously, Shoshani stated, “Since the beginning of Operation ‘Roaring Lion,’ the Iranian government has been targeting civilians. In a recent attack, they killed several innocent people in the Beit Shemesh community. The Iranian government is a terror state.”
On Tuesday, a significant attack occurred in Beit Shemesh, which is located about 30 kilometers west of Jerusalem. Several homes were destroyed in the assault, resulting in numerous casualties, including children.
The attack was so powerful that it devastated the entire neighborhood within seconds, creating an atmosphere of chaos.
Eyewitness Shimon Ganon, a resident of Beit Shemesh, described the terrifying aftermath of the attacks, saying, “Everything was destroyed in three or four seconds. The entire house was obliterated. It feels like a dream; nothing seems real. No one here understands what happened.”
Authorities in Beit Shemesh are still assessing the full extent of the devastation, and rescue operations continue amid rising tensions in the area.
