Maharashtra: Ajit Pawars Son Demands Action After Shocking Video Emerges

Mumbai, March 2: Jai Pawar, son of former Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, has shared a disturbing video on Instagram. In his post, he expressed, “I have lost my father… this pain will stay with me forever.”

In the video, Rohit Singh, the owner of VSR, is seen sleeping in the pilot’s seat during a flight. Such negligence while in the air is unacceptable and raises serious concerns.

Pawar has strongly urged the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) to take immediate and strict action regarding this incident. He demands that all VSR flights be grounded until a thorough investigation is conducted. Furthermore, he calls for the immediate arrest of Rohit Singh and stringent legal measures against him. This is a heartfelt plea from a son… for the safety of his father and all passengers.

Previously, the DGCA grounded four aircraft belonging to VSR Ventures Private Limited. This decision followed a special safety audit conducted after the Learjet 45 crash in Baramati on January 28, which resulted in the death of Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar.

The DGCA stated, “Following the crash of the Learjet 45 aircraft (VT-SSK) on January 28, 2026, the DGCA ordered a special safety audit of the organization. The multi-disciplinary audit team found multiple violations of approved procedures in the areas of airworthiness, air safety, and flight operations.”

Due to these violations and deficiencies in maintenance procedures, the DGCA decided to ground the Learjet 40/45 aircraft registered as VT-VRA, VT-VRS, VT-VRV, and VT-TRI until airworthiness standards are restored.

Additionally, the DGCA has issued non-compliance reporting forms to VSR Ventures Private Limited to facilitate root cause analysis for further assessment.
