
Udaipur, March 19: The Minister of Revenue and Rehabilitation, Hemant Meena, emphasized the state government’s commitment to comprehensive development under Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma’s leadership. In the recent state budget, numerous initiatives aimed at public welfare and development were announced. He urged elected representatives and officials to work in coordination to bring these announcements to fruition, ensuring relief for the common people.
Minister Meena addressed a district-level review meeting at the District Council Hall on Thursday. The meeting was attended by T. Ravikant, Secretary of the Petroleum and Mining Department, Rajya Sabha MP Chunnilal Garasia, Udaipur City MLA Tarachand Jain, Rural MLA Phoolsingh Meena, Vallabhnagar MLA Udaylal Dangi, District Collector Namit Mehta, Superintendent of Police Amrita Duhan, social worker Gajpalsingh Rathore, and Pushkar Teli.
During the meeting, Minister Meena extended his best wishes for the Indian New Year. He stated that collaborative efforts would accelerate development. Officials should work alongside elected representatives to meet public expectations. He also sought feedback on drinking water availability in light of the upcoming summer season and instructed officials to investigate ground-level arrangements promptly.
He assured that the government has no budget constraints. Adequate provisions for drinking water and fodder for livestock must be ensured without any negligence. He inquired about LPG distribution in the district, clarifying that there is no crisis regarding domestic gas, despite attempts to create confusion. Elected representatives and officials should reassure the public and ensure smooth LPG distribution. He also reviewed activities under the Panch Gaurav program and provided necessary directives.
Minister Meena and Secretary T. Ravikant reviewed budget announcements by department, flagship schemes, and other welfare initiatives in detail. They stressed the need for swift implementation of these budget announcements. During the departmental review, elected representatives raised concerns about public issues, expectations, and pending tasks, seeking responses from officials. District Collector Namit Mehta provided updates on the progress of budget announcements and flagship schemes, assuring that pending and ongoing projects would be completed promptly.
The meeting also saw the presence of Additional District Collector Administration Deependrasinh Rathore, ADM City Jitendra Ojha, UDA Commissioner Rahul Jain, Municipal Commissioner Abhishek Sharma, District Council CEO Riya Dabi, and Girwa SDM Avula Saikrishna, along with all departmental officials.
