Jaipur, June 18: The BJP’s state general secretary and campaign coordinator, Bhupendra Saini, announced that on June 21, mass yoga events will be organized at a large scale across all districts of Rajasthan. This initiative is part of the nationwide campaign “12 Years of Development, Trust, and Public Welfare,” celebrating the 12 years of the central government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Saini emphasized that various programs are being held throughout the state to highlight the achievements of the Modi government over the past 12 years. These include special prayers at temples, the “One Tree for Mother’s Name” tree plantation drive, public welfare camps, conferences for intellectuals, workshops on natural farming, and three-day exhibitions at the district level.
On International Yoga Day, thousands of mass yoga sessions will take place simultaneously across the state, following the protocols set by the Ministry of AYUSH. Saini urged residents, especially youth, women, and farmers, to actively participate in these events. He stated that yoga is the foundation of a healthy, balanced, and disciplined life, and it will be promoted as a public movement.
Additionally, on June 10, special prayers and a grand aarti were conducted in temples across the state to wish for Prime Minister Modi’s good health and long life, coinciding with the completion of 12 years of the central government. The “One Tree for Mother’s Name” campaign, which began on World Environment Day, continues to engage the public actively.
Saini noted that the public welfare camps held from June 12 to 20 have seen significant participation, with citizens showing great enthusiasm for schemes like Ayushman Bharat, PM Surya Home Scheme, and Lakhpati Didi.
The campaign has also invigorated party workers, with visits from central leaders such as Ashwini Vaishnaw, National General Secretary Sunil Bansal in Kota, National Minister Dr. Sanjay Jaiswal in Alwar, and National President of the Youth Wing Tejasvi Surya in Jodhpur. There has been a notable turnout at intellectual conferences and natural farming workshops as well.
