Jaipur, March 31: Recent rainfall and hailstorms over the past few days have severely impacted farmers in the region. Many districts have reported total destruction of standing crops, leading to significant financial losses for the agricultural community. In light of this alarming situation, Opposition Leader Tikaram Julie has urged the state government to intervene immediately.
Julie expressed that the months of hard work put in by farmers have been washed away in moments, leaving them to confront an economic crisis. He has appealed to Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma to conduct an immediate survey of crop damages in the affected districts to assess the actual situation.
Furthermore, Julie emphasized the need for a special economic package to be announced based on the survey results. This would provide much-needed support to farmers during this challenging time. He insisted that the government must act with sensitivity and swiftly address the farmers’ issues to enable them to continue their agricultural activities.
